BROD BAY offers good shelter from the west and south winds and has shallower water near the shore. There is a DOC campground. 3. EAST COVE offers good anchoring and shelter at the northern corner. 4. HIDDEN LAKES JETTY offers shelter with a short track leading to several small lakes and a lookout point. 5. MUSSEL COVE offers good shelter from all directions but there is no beach. 6. DRIFTWOOD COVE is good for a lunch spot if settled but is quite exposed and collects lots of driftwood from the prevailing wind. 7. GARNET BAY goes in quite some distance and gives good shelter from the south. Great lunch spot. 8. DOME ISLAND gives some reprieve from the feisty sandflies. With settled weather it provides good anchorage with views down the South Fiord.
