It can be exposed to northerly and westerly winds, plus the swell can get up as a result. Best for 4WD vehicles. GPS coordinates: 45° 25’ 29”S 167° 43’ 5”E DOCK BAY BOAT ACCESS is off Golf Course Road. Boat launching is off the beach. There is good parking but no facilities. It can be quite exposed from the northerly quarter winds. Best for 4WD vehicles. GPS coordinates: 45° 26’ 16”S 167° 42’ 24”E BOAT HARBOUR BOAT RAMP is off Te Anau-Milford SH94 at Te Anau Downs. It is a concrete ramp with good parking but no facilities. There is a jetty but this should be kept clear as it is used by the Milford Track transport vessel.
